Turkey’s Capital Markets Board allows Hedef Portföy fund liquidations to begin
Turkey’s Capital Markets Board, known as SPK, has allowed Hedef Portföy fund liquidations to begin.
The funds were founded by Hedef Portföy Yönetimi, whose funds had already been ordered to be wound up.
SPK says the liquidations will follow the same rules set for funds from three other firms.
Under those rules, a Ziraat Bank official will work with the firms to carry out the process.
Funds will be liquidated from most investors to fewest, according to the number of investors in each fund.
The decision sets out how the winding-up will proceed, but gives no timetable for completion.
