Yo-Chi opens Katong outlet with kaya toppings from Chin Mee Chin
Australian frozen yoghurt chain Yo-Chi opened a new outlet at i12 Katong in Singapore on Nov 5.
For the opening, it teamed up with heritage bakery Chin Mee Chin to create two toppings inspired by local kopitiam favourites.
The limited-edition toppings are a Kaya Swiss Roll and a kaya-filled Choux Puff, available for three days.
The Choux Puffs are exclusive to the Katong outlet and limited to 500 a day, while the Kaya Swiss Roll will be sold across Singapore after its first three days.
Yo-Chi also introduced an iced latte yoghurt flavour combining frozen yoghurt with a coffee flavour.
The opening brings a local food heritage theme to the new outlet, which has Peranakan-inspired decor.
The special toppings are only available for the stated limited period, and the Choux Puffs are freshly filled with kaya at a live station.
