Cadillac unveils cowboy-themed livery for the United States Grand Prix

Cadillac has unveiled a cowboy-inspired design for its car at the Austin Grand Prix this weekend.

The livery draws on the American West, with stitching patterns, saddle details, the Austin skyline and a track map.

Drivers Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez will wear race suits designed to match the car.

The design was created by General Motors designers in Michigan and Cadillac’s technical team in the UK, with the graphics adapted to the car’s aerodynamic needs.

It is Cadillac’s third special design in its first Formula 1 season, following looks for Miami and Silverstone.

The team is last in the constructors’ standings and has no points so far in 2026.

Colton Herta will replace Perez in first practice, giving him his first chance to drive an F1 car on home soil.

It looks like the whole livery is embroidered right onto the car, which is really cool.

In Miami, we drew on American symbols. At Silverstone, we celebrated American colour. For Austin, we wanted to explore another part of that story through the character of the American West.

There’s so much depth to American culture, and that gives us room to express who we are as a team in ways that feel authentic, thoughtful, and distinctive.
