15 arrested in drug investigation at Zurich bar

Zurich police arrested 15 people in a search of the Neugasshof bar in the city’s Kreis 5 district.

The group includes 12 men and three women, aged 25 to 71, from Switzerland, Serbia, Hungary, Croatia and Italy.

Prosecutors suspect large-scale drug dealing at the bar.

Police seized several hundred grams of cocaine, several kilograms of cannabis products, cash, a handgun with ammunition and electronic evidence.

Fourteen people remain in police custody, while one was released after questioning.

Prosecutors say the arrests are not linked to the disappearance of a man who worked at the bar and went missing in 2023.
