Suriya plays a reluctant cop drawn into a murder case in Scene
The trailer introduces Suriya as Inbaraj, a police officer who has resigned.
He wants to stay home, but his colleagues bring him back to the station.
A murder investigation draws him into a case involving Eeswaran, a dangerous criminal played by Naslen.
Nazriya plays Maya, who helps Inbaraj as the investigation unfolds.
The film mixes crime, action and comedy, with Inbaraj’s unconventional attitude at the centre.
When asked why he quit at the peak of his career, Inbaraj says he plans to enter politics, a line that appears to allude to actor Vijay’s political move.
Scene is scheduled to open in cinemas on November 6, during the Diwali season.
