Windows 11 adds menu customization and an easier reinstall option in November

Microsoft is bringing 11 changes to Windows 11 in November, with availability varying as features roll out gradually.

One major change lets users customize the right-click menu, choosing which commands and app extensions appear and moving some options into a separate submenu.

Users can keep the default layout or access the older menu by holding Shift while right-clicking.

Another key addition, Cloud Rebuild, makes reinstalling Windows easier by removing the need to create a bootable USB drive.

Other changes cover gaming with a controller, privacy settings, Phone Link message previews, accessibility, Edge performance and security.

The update is rolling out gradually, so not everyone will see the changes at the same time.
