Tatarstan shares research on Indian states with Russian businesses
At a business forum in Kazan, Tatarstan’s investment agency outlined its support for Russia-India ties.
The agency says it gives Russian businesses expert information on the economies and opportunities of India’s states.
Indian colleagues provided nearly 4,000 slides, which the agency translated into Russian and compiled into brochures.
The materials cover states beyond Mumbai and New Delhi, including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab and West Bengal.
The aim is to help businesses understand the differences between Indian regions when considering cooperation.
The forum is taking place in Kazan from October 14 to 17, and the agency says it is also encouraging businesses in other Russian regions to study the materials.

Agency head Taliya Minullina described the initiative at the 2nd Russia-India Business Forum TIME in Kazan.
