Iluvatar CoreX says Tiangai 300 GPU matches Nvidia H200

Shanghai-based Iluvatar CoreX says its Tiangai 300 GPU can match or beat Nvidia’s H200 in real-world AI work.

The Chinese chipmaker demonstrated the processor live for mainland Chinese media on Wednesday.

The demo showed it performing complex tasks, including generating images and videos from text with advanced AI models.

Iluvatar also says third-party tests found the Tiangai 300 delivered 1.05 times the H200’s single-card throughput.

The company did not disclose how those tests were conducted.

The claims come as Chinese chipmakers work to narrow the technology gap with Nvidia.

The demonstration offers evidence of the company’s claim, but the available details do not explain how its performance was independently verified.
