Man injured in shooting on Rotterdam street

A man was injured in a shooting on Friday evening in Delfshaven, a district of Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

The shooting happened on Rauwenhoffstraat at about 6:15 p.m.

The man was checked by ambulance staff at the scene, and photographers said he was able to walk to the ambulance.

Police have not arrested anyone, and they say the circumstances are not yet known.

Officers cordoned off the street and searched the area as part of their investigation.

Police are asking witnesses to come forward with information.
