Hazzys and Rocky Mountain Featherbed launch downwear collaboration

South Korean fashion brand Hazzys has launched a collaboration with Rocky Mountain Featherbed.

The two brands developed down jackets and vests together, rather than simply combining their logos or design details.

Rocky Mountain Featherbed began in the United States in the late 1960s as a maker of warm clothing for cowboys, then returned in Japan in 2005 after disappearing in the late 1980s.

The jackets retain its western-yoke design, but replace the usual leather yoke with suede made from Japanese kip skin.

The jackets use goose down for warmth, while the quilted vests are designed to layer with different outfits.

The collaboration brings the brands’ heritage into new products.
