Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd say they split more than a year ago
Dallas Wings teammates Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd said they are no longer a couple on Fudd's podcast Friday.
Bueckers said they split more than a year ago, before Fudd was drafted by Dallas.
The two first met in 2017 and later played together at the University of Connecticut, where their relationship began.
They were picked first overall in consecutive WNBA drafts: Bueckers in 2025 and Fudd in 2026.
Bueckers said their past relationship did not influence Fudd's selection, and both said they remain friends and professional teammates.
Fudd's rookie season ended after 30 games because of a knee injury, and she said she is doing rehabilitation and training.
Dallas reached the playoffs, but the Wings were eliminated in the first round by the eventual champion Golden State Valkyries.
