CM Punk and Kevin Owens set for No Holds Barred match on SmackDown

WWE changed CM Punk and Kevin Owens’ match to No Holds Barred for the November 6 episode of SmackDown.

The announcement came during the October 30 show.

The stipulation removes the usual match restrictions, including disqualification rules, and allows weapons and fighting outside the ring.

Punk and Owens have been feuding for several months.

Their conflict grew after Owens accidentally hit Punk with the WWE title while trying to strike Sami Zayn, costing Punk the championship.

They last met in a singles match on August 21, when Owens challenged Punk for the title.

The new rules give both wrestlers more freedom to settle their rivalry, with fewer protections than in a standard match.

They are scheduled to face each other on November 6, on a SmackDown show that will be taped in Brooklyn after Raw on Monday.
