Maxence Lemardelé wins Trévé cyclo-cross as Nolann Mahoudo finishes third

Maxence Lemardelé won the second Coupe de Bretagne cyclo-cross round in Trévé, in Brittany, on Sunday.

Louis Tanguy finished second and local rider Nolann Mahoudo third, according to the results.

Mahoudo, 23, had won the previous day in Plouaret and was racing in front of his home crowd.

Back pain made him ease off, preventing him from challenging fully for victory.

Lemardelé said he and Tanguy responded when Mahoudo attacked, then saw him sit upright.

The race was part of the regional Coupe de Bretagne series, and the published results list the top three in order.

The provided information does not say what comes next for the riders.
