Kaufland recalls Nestlé baby formula again over Cereulide warning
Kaufland has recalled certain Nestlé Beba baby formula batches again across Germany after some products were still sold in its stores.
The batches had been included in a Nestlé recall earlier in 2026, but some were not fully removed from Kaufland shelves.
The concern is Cereulide, a toxin that can cause nausea and vomiting, sometimes within 30 minutes to six hours after a feed.
The products may pose a particular risk to babies, who are more sensitive to toxins than adults.
Parents should not feed the affected batches and can check the batch details online.
Kaufland says customers can return them to any of its stores and receive a refund even without a receipt.
The recall applies to Kaufland stores nationwide, including its stores in Saarland; other retailers are not included in this notice.
Kaufland recently also repeated recalls of certain Aptamil and Milumil products after batches covered by an earlier Danone recall were found for sale in its stores.
Kaufland has again recalled certain Nestlé Beba infant and specialist formula batches across Germany because affected products were still being sold in some stores.
The batches had already been recalled by Nestlé earlier in 2026, but some were not fully removed from Kaufland shelves.
The warning follows updated guidance on the threshold for Cereulide, a toxin that can cause nausea and vomiting.
