Rays beat Brewers in 12 innings to extend World Series

The Tampa Bay Rays beat the Milwaukee Brewers 4-3 in Game 4 of the World Series.

The game lasted 12 innings and took four and a half hours.

Milwaukee had won the first three games of the best-of-seven series, putting Tampa Bay one loss away from a sweep.

The Rays’ win kept their championship hopes alive and forced the series to continue.

Historically, teams with a 3-0 lead in the World Series have gone on to win, though some needed a fifth game.

The series now returns to Milwaukee for Game 5, where the Brewers can still win the championship.
