Geely plans to enter Canada’s EV market in 2027

Chinese automaker Geely plans to start selling vehicles in Canada in 2027.

It is setting up places to sell and service its cars, but has not named the models.

The move follows an agreement allowing a limited number of Chinese electric vehicles into Canada.

It could give Canadian buyers another choice as the country seeks closer trade ties beyond the United States.
