Police investigate after two women are harassed in Gerlafingen woodland

Police in Gerlafingen, in Switzerland’s Solothurn canton, are investigating two incidents involving an unknown man in a local woodland.

A teenager said the man grabbed her arm on Monday evening, but she pulled away and ran to a nearby residential area.

On Tuesday, a young woman said he blocked her path and chased her briefly when she ran.

Police believe the same man may have been involved in both incidents.

Neither woman was physically injured, and the man’s intentions are not known.

The incidents happened in woodland between Friedhofstrasse, Grüttstrasse and Kriegstettenstrasse.

Police are asking witnesses to come forward as their investigation continues.
