One injured after shots fired at Edinburgh pub

Shots were fired at a pub window on Gilmerton Road in Edinburgh at about 9.15pm on Friday.

One person was injured and treated at the scene.

The pub was reportedly hosting mourners after the funeral of Paul MacAulay, who died in a motorcycle crash.

Police believe the shooting was targeted, but have not said who was responsible or why.

Officers searched the area, but no one was traced, and the road was sealed off as inquiries continued.

Police are asking witnesses and anyone with relevant dashcam or CCTV footage to contact them.
