Cyclone Arnab Brings Rain and Strong-Wind Alerts Across Uttar Pradesh

Strong, stormy winds could affect 50 districts, according to the state weather centre.
Gorakhpur officials have activated a 24-hour emergency control room and asked departments to prepare for flooding, fallen trees and damage to buildings.
Residents have been urged to avoid unnecessary travel and stay away from open fields, floodwater and tall trees during bad weather.
Authorities are also advising farmers to protect crops and move harvested grain to safer places.
