Madueke's late goal gives Arsenal a 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest

Arsenal beat Nottingham Forest 1-0 in a Premier League match at the City Ground.

Noni Madueke, brought on at half-time, scored the winner in the 80th minute with a shot that deflected into the net.

Forest defended in numbers and limited Arsenal to one shot on target, despite Arsenal having most of the possession.

Arsenal's substitutes made the difference, continuing a run of second-half changes that have helped the team win difficult matches.

The result leaves Arsenal second, three points behind Manchester City, and two points ahead of Brighton.

Forest remain third from bottom after a third straight defeat and are still waiting for their first home goal of the season.

Arsenal next host Everton on 24 October, while Forest visit Ipswich on 23 October.
