Goldman Sachs Sells 5.34 Million Eternal Shares in ₹168.7 Crore Deal

Goldman Sachs sold 5.34 million shares in Eternal for ₹168.7 crore in a block deal in India.

The investment bank sold them through Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE at ₹316 a share, according to exchange data.

Bank of America bought the shares through its affiliate BofA Securities Europe.

The sale came after Eternal’s share price rose in recent months, as investors responded to stronger financial results.

Eternal runs Blinkit, a quick-commerce business that delivers goods rapidly and has been a key driver of the company’s growth.

Eternal reported ₹92 crore in net profit in the first quarter of FY27, up from ₹25 crore a year earlier, while revenue rose to ₹20,211 crore.

The deal is the second major block sale of Eternal shares in two months; no further action was specified.
