Colts coach leaves quarterback spot open after 42-7 loss to Jaguars

The Indianapolis Colts lost 42-7 to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

After the defeat, Colts coach Shane Steichen said he would evaluate every position, including quarterback.

That leaves Daniel Jones' starting job uncertain for the first time this season.

Jones threw for 144 yards, with one touchdown and two interceptions, before being taken out late in the game.

Backup Anthony Richardson finished with two pass attempts, completing both for eight yards.

Jones has struggled this season, and his contract allows the Colts to leave next year if they choose.

The Colts have also made major changes to their leadership and roster, and Steichen has not said what changes come next.
