Medvedev tied for most bagel sets on the ATP Tour in 2026
Daniil Medvedev has lost four sets 0-6 this season, a score tennis players call a bagel.
That total is tied for the most on the ATP Tour with Vit Kopriva and Daniel Altmaier.
The losses came at the Australian Open, Miami Open and Monte Carlo Masters, where Matteo Berrettini beat him 6-0, 6-0.
The record stands out against an otherwise strong season: Medvedev has won titles in Brisbane, Dubai and Hangzhou and returned to the top five.
But he has not reached a Grand Slam quarterfinal this year and has lost to seven players ranked outside the top 50.
His results have been strikingly uneven, with only two wins against top-10 players, including a victory over Carlos Alcaraz at Indian Wells.
He still has a chance to qualify for the ATP Finals at the end of the year.
Daniil Medvedev has been bagelled four times on the ATP Tour in 2026, tied for the most with Vit Kopriva and Daniel Altmaier.
His first bagel came against Learner Tien at the Australian Open, where Medvedev lost in the round of 16.
He was bagelled again by Francisco Cerundolo at the Miami Open and then lost 0-6, 0-6 to Matteo Berrettini in the Monte Carlo Masters’ opening round.
Despite the unwanted record, Medvedev has won three ATP Tour titles this season, in Brisbane, Dubai and Hangzhou.
