Scènes de ménages actor Sarah Deffeyes announces her husband's death

Sarah Deffeyes said her husband, Yannick Lefrançois, had died on October 20.

Deffeyes is an actor in the French television comedy series Scènes de ménages and has also worked in theatre and television in Réunion.

The couple had married a little over a year earlier, and Deffeyes celebrated their first wedding anniversary on social media in July.

She shared a tribute to Lefrançois on Instagram and received messages of support from friends, artists and members of the public.

The cause of his death has not been made public.

A farewell ceremony was held in Eure-et-Loir on October 26, including a civil ceremony at the crematorium in Pierres.

His family asked for no flowers, plaques or wreaths.
