Mammootty reportedly favors land over risky business investments
Mammootty generally favors safer investments such as land, according to chartered accountant Sanil Kumar.
Kumar said on a podcast that he has handled the actor’s financial affairs and private business interests for more than 30 years.
He described Mammootty as having little interest in running large businesses or taking substantial financial risks.
The approach appears focused on protecting his existing wealth rather than expanding it through riskier ventures.
One exception was Motherhood, a maternal care company started by Mammootty’s daughter, Surumy, and her husband, Dr Mohammed Rehan Sayeed.
Mammootty was a major shareholder in the startup, which was later acquired by a foreign company at what Kumar called a good premium for shareholders.
