Paul Howard, Son of Three Stooges Star Moe Howard, Dies at 91
Paul Howard, the only son of Moe Howard, has died at 91.
He lived on Manhattan’s Upper East Side and died this week, according to a spokesperson for the company that owns The Three Stooges brand.
He was the last surviving son of the original comedy team, which included Moe, his brothers Curly and Shemp, and Larry Fine.
After Moe died in 1975, Paul helped preserve his father’s legacy by sharing family stories with fans at events and conventions.
He narrated a 2015 docuseries about the Stooges, which includes archival footage and interviews with family members and fans.
The series, *Hey Moe, Hey Dad!*, is available on The Three Stooges+ YouTube channel.
His firsthand memories offered a family view of the famous comedy team, and he is survived by his wife, daughter, nephew and cousin.
