Fox Corp. reports record quarterly revenue as ads rise

Fox Corp.

reported record revenue in its fiscal first quarter, which began its 2027 financial year.

Revenue was $4.57 billion, up 22% from the same quarter a year earlier.

Advertising revenue rose 47%, while net income increased to $957 million from $609 million.

The company said World Cup coverage and midterm election ads helped drive the growth.

The quarter also included the start of the NFL season and MLB playoffs, adding to the sports programming that attracted advertisers.

The figures show how major sports events and political campaigns can boost a media company’s advertising business; Fox gave no further next steps in its announcement.
