Subhash Ghai and Shreyas Talpade reunite for film Manya

Subhash Ghai and Shreyas Talpade are reuniting for the film Manya, 20 years after they worked together on Iqbal.

Ghai is a filmmaker whose work includes both commercial films and socially focused stories.

Manya follows a juvenile boy who turns to theft and explores the circumstances behind his actions.

The film is directed by Sameer Joshi and produced by Mukta Arts and Puneet Aggarwal; one account also names Rahul Puri and Slow Burn Entertainment.

The reunion comes as Ghai marks 50 years in Indian cinema, while Mukta Arts celebrates its 48th anniversary.

Mukta Arts is expanding into films, animation, online series and documentaries, with further project details expected to be announced.

Ghai is also working on Khalnayak Returns with Sanjay Dutt and a courtroom drama featuring Anil Kapoor.
