Jacob Duffy praises Virat Kohli’s humility and work ethic

New Zealand seamer Jacob Duffy praised Virat Kohli’s humility and work ethic after they shared a dressing room at Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Duffy said he met Kohli in the gym as India’s ODI team arrived in New Zealand, and that Kohli welcomed overseas players.

He described Kohli as a major figure in India who remained down-to-earth with his teammates.

Duffy said he often bowled to Kohli in the nets and is now looking forward to playing against him.

Kohli has said the 2027 ODI World Cup will be his last for India, and that winning it is his motivation.

The tournament is due to be held in South Africa and Zimbabwe, and would be Kohli’s fifth ODI World Cup.
