C. Tangana returns to rap with personal new song
Spanish rapper C. Tangana has released “Milko Freestyle,” his first solo song in three years.
The track returns to the rap style he used early in his career, before his 2021 album “El Madrileño” brought a shift toward Spanish and Latin American sounds.
In the song, he looks back on criticism from other rappers and the difficult financial and industry experiences that followed his success.
He also reflects on the death of his friend and collaborator Milkman, a Mexican rapper, producer and visual artist who died in February.
The song describes becoming a father and the responsibilities that come with it.
Its release comes as Agorazein prepares four concerts in Madrid from November 15 to 18, a return for the rap collective that helped launch his career.
The concerts mark 10 years since the group’s 2016 album, and the next step in C. Tangana’s musical plans is not yet clear.
