Brazilian customs seize 300 drug ampoules hidden in motorcycle
Brazilian customs officers seized 300 ampoules of weight-loss and anabolic drugs on Friday at the Friendship Bridge crossing in Foz do Iguaçu.
The drugs were hidden in the air filter of a motorcycle used by a motorcycle taxi driver.
Customs officials said the ampoules were in a false compartment that was unsuitable for storing medicine.
No one was arrested, and the case was sent to federal prosecutors.

Weight-loss drugs made up 52.7% of irregular medicines seized in the first half of 2026, and customs said they were the second most seized smuggled product at the border, after mobile phones.
