HiteJinro launches limited-edition 10-year-aged raspberry wine

HiteJinro has launched a limited-edition raspberry wine called Jinro Bokbunja in South Korea.

It is made with raspberry extract aged for 10 years, which the company says is the first use of such long-aged extract in a Korean raspberry wine.

The drink is aimed at younger consumers, among whom mixing raspberry wine with soju and soda has become popular.

It contains no added sugar and has a deep burgundy colour.

The 300-millilitre bottle has 12% alcohol and is priced in the mid-7,000 won range at large supermarkets.

A soju-and-soda mixing kit is planned for next month, for sale at supermarkets and convenience stores nationwide.
