Saudi property prices rise 1.2% year on year in Q3

Saudi Arabia’s property prices rose 1.2% year on year in the third quarter of 2026, according to official transaction data.

Residential prices increased 2.3%, led by residential land, which rose 4.9%; apartment prices also rose, while villa prices fell 7.7%.

The overall index fell 1.2% from the previous quarter, with residential land prices dropping 2.1%.

Commercial property prices fell 2% over the year, while agricultural property prices rose 3.9%.

The figures track property transactions, not rents, and national averages do not show how prices changed in every neighbourhood.

The government is seeking to expand housing supply, including by developing unused land, as it promotes homeownership under Vision 2030.
