Regular contributions through systematic investment plans, or SIPs, have helped support the businesses despite market swings.
SIP contributions stayed around ₹31,000–32,000 crore a month in FY27, and total assets managed by the seven listed firms grew nearly 16% from March to August.
A revised rule on mutual fund expenses also affected the companies less than investors had initially feared.
The firms are expected to report a small increase in core earnings for the September quarter.
