Airbnb campaign will turn one South Korean country home into a guest stay

Airbnb Korea has launched a campaign to turn a rural home into a guest stay using the stories and everyday skills of older residents.

Families, including grandchildren, can submit stories about a country home until December 31.

One team and one space will be selected for a makeover and guidance on listing and running the stay.

The renovation will aim to preserve family keepsakes and furniture while making the home comfortable for guests.

The campaign also aims to support rural communities by choosing a home with potential to connect with local groups and encourage visitors.

The selected team will also have a chance to travel abroad with Airbnb in 2027 and learn hosting practices from local hosts before welcoming guests.

ATEEZ member San is taking part in a campaign video encouraging families to submit stories.

We hope this campaign will make the everyday lives and individuality of older residents, and family memories, a reason for many people to visit the countryside.
