Jeremiyah Love's ankle issue puts him in doubt for Cardinals-Rams game

Cardinals running back Jeremiyah Love missed practice on Wednesday because of a lingering problem with his left ankle.

The rookie's availability for Sunday's game against the Rams is uncertain, coach Mike LaFleur said.

Love's right ankle sprain from the preseason has healed, but the left ankle has bothered him over the past two weeks.

The Cardinals want him to rest because his forceful cuts as a running back may make it harder for the ankle to recover.

The injury may be affecting his explosiveness; he ran for 22 yards on 12 carries in Sunday's loss to Detroit.

The team will assess him day by day and decide as the week goes on whether he can play.

We all are in agreeance as much as he wants to battle through, we're all in agreeance right now, it's just, hey just give it a little bit of rest and see as the week goes on what that'll entail for Sunday.
