TOFAŞ Starts Doblo K9 Production at Its Bursa Factory
TOFAŞ has started making the Doblo K9 at its factory in Bursa, Türkiye.
Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır attended the production launch ceremony.
The new production is part of Türkiye’s automotive industry, which supplies both domestic and export markets.
Kacır said the country’s manufacturing value has grown to more than $250 billion, from $41 billion, and its annual goods exports have reached $283 billion, from $36 billion in 2002.
Automotive exports reached $41.5 billion last year, according to Kacır, who described the sector as important to jobs, manufacturing and trade.
The government has supported thousands of automotive investment projects and says its incentives include funding for electric vehicle and battery production.
TOFAŞ has started production of the Doblo K9 at its factory in Bursa, Turkey.
The K9 project covers the Citroën Berlingo, Fiat Doblo, Opel Combo and Peugeot Rifter.
