Chongqing plans AI services for jobs, talent and social security

Chongqing says it will expand AI services across jobs, talent and social security during its next five-year planning period.

The city will give job services the first priority, including support for people seeking work and monitoring the risk of unemployment.

It also plans to make it easier for flexible workers to enrol in social insurance by cutting steps, paperwork and processing time.

For talent services, Chongqing plans to use AI to match people with jobs and identify shortages of skilled workers.

The city will build a testing base for AI applications in human resources, with 60 models and 42 applications across 10 categories.

These tools are intended to improve employment support and help businesses, including those in the smart connected vehicle industry.

Chongqing says that by 2026, 70% of its human resources system's smart terminals and agents will be in use, alongside five AI innovation workstations and 30 high-quality data sets.
