Three Delisted Korean Companies to Trade on K-OTC From Oct. 30

Koiz, Kapro and Wonpoong will begin trading on K-OTC on Oct.

30 after being delisted from South Korea’s KOSPI and KOSDAQ markets last month.

K-OTC is an over-the-counter market, where investors can trade shares outside the main exchanges.

The companies were selected for a temporary trading program that gives delisted firms meeting minimum investor-protection requirements a place to trade.

Koiz makes optical films and materials, Kapro produces high-purity hydrogen and sulfuric acid products, and Wonpoong sells men’s clothing and is expanding into Micro-LED technology.

Trading support is set to last up to six months, giving investors a limited period to buy and sell the shares.

The starting price will use the lower of two recent price measures, and daily prices can move up or down by as much as 30% from that level.

The Korea Financial Investment Association says it will review delisted stocks each month and may add more eligible companies; the K-OTC market now has 127 companies.
