HORI Unveils Pokémon-Themed Switch 2 Controllers and Accessories
HORI has opened pre-orders for two Pokémon-themed controllers for Nintendo Switch 2 as part of Pokémon’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
The designs draw on FireRed and LeafGreen, remakes of the original Pokémon games that were released in 2004.
One controller features a forest theme, while the other shows a cave, with each decorated with Pokémon from the games.
The controllers cost about $34 each, and the collection also includes themed pouches and a game-card case.
The pouches cost $31 each and the case costs $10 during the pre-order period.
The products follow the release of FireRed and LeafGreen on Nintendo Switch earlier this year and offer fans a way to celebrate the series’ history.
The collection is available to pre-order now, while the source says the next Pokémon generation, Winds and Waves, is expected in 2027.
