Gustavo Yankelevich described alleged abuse of his grandsons in 2015 testimony
Gustavo Yankelevich gave sworn testimony in San Isidro in 2015 about claims that his grandsons had been abused by their father, Darío Giordano.
He said the boys told him about being hit, pulled by the hair and dragged around the house, including up and down stairs.
Yankelevich said he and his former wife, Cris Morena, had initially mistaken what they heard for shouting and strict discipline.
He said the alleged incidents went back to 2012, while his complaint followed a message about the younger boy wanting to live with his mother, who had died years earlier.
The boys later moved in with their grandfather, and he said Valentín's school marks improved and his behaviour problems decreased.
Morena also gave testimony in the case file in December 2015; the account does not say what happened next in the case.

Yankelevich said his grandson Franco told him that his father had hit him so hard he felt he would faint.
He said he had not personally seen physical injuries on the boys.
The testimony became public after a report following a 2026 interview with racing driver Darío Giordano.
