Bank Mandiri Expands Digital Services, Including Gold Trading Through Livin'
Bank Mandiri is expanding its digital services in Indonesia as customers’ needs change, while continuing to connect its app with branches and contact centres.
Its Livin' app brings together banking, financing, investment and lifestyle services.
The app had 42.2 million registered users by August 2026, up 23.4% from a year earlier, and recorded 3.7 billion transactions.
After receiving a bullion licence from Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority, Bank Mandiri launched digital gold services, including gold savings, buying and selling, and instalment purchases.
The licence made it Indonesia’s first conventional bank with bullion authorisation, and customers can also collect physical gold at branches or gold ATMs.
Bank Mandiri says digital growth helped lift its deposits to Rp1,687 trillion, up 17.6% year on year, compared with 13.7% growth across the industry.
The bank is also linking online services with in-person support, and received top service awards at the Danantara Indonesia CX100.
