Saudi council says economy kept prices stable amid global pressures
Saudi Arabia’s Council of Economic and Development Affairs reviewed how the country’s economy is handling rising global economic pressures.
The council said economic and structural policies helped keep prices stable and protect purchasing power.
The Purchasing Managers’ Index, a measure of business activity, reached 55.3 points, which the council said reflected growing business confidence.
Saudi Arabia also said continued energy supplies and alternative export routes helped cushion global markets against geopolitical changes.
The council reviewed a health system plan that separates oversight and financing from service delivery, with the Health Ministry regulating the sector and the Health Holding Company providing care through 20 clusters.
Ten clusters are transferring, and the remaining transfers are planned for completion by early 2027.
