Yusuf Demir records 12 goal contributions in 17 Rapid Wien games

Yusuf Demir has made 12 goal contributions in 17 games for Rapid Wien this season, scoring six times and setting up six goals.

The Austrian club is where the 23-year-old returned in February 2026 after leaving Galatasaray.

His earlier spells at Barcelona and Galatasaray were difficult, and he struggled for regular playing time in Istanbul.

His return began with a fitness setback, and he did not play his first match for Rapid until April.

In May, he was sent off after 22 minutes against Sturm Graz.

Demir has since become a key contributor for Rapid, a sharp change from his Galatasaray record of two goals and two assists in 26 official matches.

His Rapid Wien contract ends at the close of the season, and no next step is stated.
